Over One Hundred Thousand
A quick note of update and encouragement to the growing army of advocates for KennethCopelandBlog.com: About a month ago we surpassed 100,000 page views for this website as we call on Kenneth Copeland, his dysfunctional family, and his alleged “ministry” to simply repent. (Now are are expanding that call to repentance to include that they be born again, for we have come to the regrettable conclusion that they have never been saved, given their fruit for over 40 years.)
Moreover, this milestone was not achieved by North American traffic alone. Our site has been visited by 164 countries within the last year alone (i.e. prior to this posting). Many of these visitors utilize our foreign language translator, so people all over the world in many different languages are finding out about the fraud, deception, and heresy of this dangerous group.
All our website’s visitors are being warned, and the Christians are being called to prayer. It is my family’s hope, and the hope of many of our advocates, that the Copeland family’s salvation will be secured soon—and the salvation of many of their cult members as well. Regardless, many people are being warned about these wolves, and the “sheep’s clothing” has been revealed to be mere show and pretense:
Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thorn bushes, or figs from thistles? Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them.
(Matthew 7:15-20, NKJV)
It is fascinating to note that the Greek word of the original New Testament text translated as “ferocious” above (and as “ravening” in the King James Version) is the word harpax, which literally means a “robber, extortioner.” In other words, one of the key signs of a “wolf” according to Jesus is their self-serving and covetous nature, which is willing to “rob” or even “extort” in order to get what they crave. (Of course, lying to people about the robbing and extortion would seem to be an associated and expected sin by such people as well.)
The Copelands “sell” their false teaching of “prosperity” by appealing to the needs and/or covetousness of others. Their “gospel of greed” is patently unbiblical, and they do not even try to live by it themselves. Instead, they live off of luxurious perks and extravagant salaries FUNDED primarily by the sales of their errant materials and the donations of trusting (but ignorant) people. In short, they are “ravening wolves” who feed on God’s sheep, as well as the “goats” who happen to wander into their wolf pack’s feeding frenzy.
We document that fact with regard to the Copelands’ Angel Flight 44 fraud on this website in particular (which alone was an estimated $2-4 million influx into their general fund, from which they draw their salaries). However, there are many more that the Grassley investigation have pulled out of hiding, and we are thankful for what the Lord did through the Televangelists Probe.
Thus, while many websites on the Internet today confront the heresies and doctrinal errors of the Copeland family, precious few do what we do here at KennethCopelandBlog.com: Namely, document the “wolfish” nature of that corrupt family by exposing their multiple frauds and documented lies. So while many of our brethren are doing a wonderful job exposing their false teaching, we feel our main responsibility and contribution to the Body of Christ is to expose their “ferocious” nature as wolves, devouring the wealth of others in order to consume it upon themselves. This might change in the future, however, but up until now, this has been our focus.
So a hearty “Thank you!” to all the advocates of our redemptive project who have emailed the links to our articles to others, and who have posted our material on your own blogs and websites for others to find. Over 100,000 page views from over 164 countries of the world reveal that we are getting the message out to a whole lot of people.
Together, we are all surely doing our part—as Jeremiah did in his day within Jerusalem—to call the Copeland family and their alleged “ministry” to account. Hopefully, they will eventually repent (unlike most of the people Jeremiah confronted). However, regardless, let’s keep trying to warn others away from them, and to win souls for Christ.
Always in Jesus,
